I’m off to London Town all next week for a4uexpo, and had managed to pack in a pretty busy week of gigs, football, meetings and of course the actual expo and parties at the tail end of the week. As always with these type of events, I’m keen to justify the cost of going (When you take into account train tickets, hotel rooms, drinking money, and of course lost productivity during the time away, it’s not far off costing me nearly Two Grand to attend the expo. For that reason, I’m determined to squeeze every penny out of the week.

One of my meetings has just had to cancel today, and I’ve had a quick scout around to find someone suitable to meet up with on Wednesday lunchtime. I’ve found several people I could meet, but I don’t know whether a) They’d be available or b) It’d actually be worth my while meeting them.

So as I’m sat here watching Dragon’s Den (full report tomorrow!), I thought “why not have people pitch to me, and I’ll meet the best one?” And as there was no-one around to disagree with me, that’s what I’m going to do…

Where/When/Who/How?

Ok, here’s the main details and our terms should you choose to accept them!

• Wednesday October 24th - 1:30pm onwards
• Central London (We’re staying at docklands, so don’t make us travel)
• It’s a lunch date - Nowhere pretentious please (Dress code Jeans and T-shirt)
• You’re paying for lunch. There’ll be 2 of us, and no more than 2 of you.
• No longer than 2 hours please
• You must be able to realistically increase our profits by a minimum of £1,000 per month through either PPC or SEO - The key here is realistic. Achievable, etc. we have PPC budgets, and we have content sites. We are not miracle workers however.

So, if you’d like to meet up with us, please send me an email at john@bigideamedia.com by close of play on Thursday this week (18th October) with the following details:

• Who you are
• Where you would take us
• What Industry/area you are based in
• A brief outline of how you would increase our profits

I’ll then let everyone know on Friday whether I’ve decided to meet them or not - Of course if your company catches my eye but I don’t choose to let you buy me lunch, I’m sure i’ll let you buy me a beer or three over the course of the week!
