a4uexpo was amazing – but don’t take my word for it!

Yours truly taking a shot of vodka from the a4uexpo ice sculpture
The Alcohol-stream finally has some blood in it, and the extra hour in bed on Sunday was welcomed with open-arms. Yes, I’ve recovered from the best business event I’ve ever been to. I posted on the a4uforum that the event paid for itself within the first hour, and that was no word of a lie: This event will pay for itself ten times over.

If you ummed and ahhed about going and ultimately didn’t attend, then more fool you – and make sure you don’t miss out next year. Quite how Matt and the guys can top this one I have no idea – but I’m sure they will. Absolutely everything, from the seminars to the speakers to the parties was totally spot-on. but don’t just take my word for it – Here’s a round up of what other bloggers thought:

Paul Wheatley – Moose on the Loose: “the a4uexpo event which excelled beyond the high expectations we were confident it would deliver… For all those involved in organising the event (Matt, Claire and the rest of the A4UExpo Team) … Congratulations! You did yourselves proud”

Kirsty McCubbin – Affiliate Stuff: “the best conference I have ever attended”

James Little – 3wdl: “Matt, Claire, Chris and everyone else at who had a hand in organising the A4U Expo should get a massive pat on the bank for what turned out to be the best affiliate event that I have had the pleasure of attending (and I’ve attended a fair few)”

Jason Dale – One Little Duck: “a highly enjoyable event, not just socially, but also from a business point of view too… Affiliate marketing will never be perfect, but for 2 days in October 2007 it damn well near was… roll on A4U Expo 2008.”

Sarafina Wolde Gabriel – Share Results: “a thoroughly vibrant and well organised expo. The presentations and speakers were simply fantastic.”

Dan Morley – Morley Mouse: “the biggest and best organised I’ve been to and everyone involved really made it what it was and it’s a huge leap forward for the industry to be able to pull something like that off as well as it was”

Keith Bond – Keith’s Affiliate Marketing Blog: “the key behind the success was the relaxed atmosphere of the whole 2 days…the greatest event that the UK affiliate marketing arena has ever seen”

Stephen Pratley – StephenPratley.com: “The event was smoothly run with all the mod cons a show like this needs”

Elaine Forth – Elaine’s Space: “If you thought it was too expensive or you simpy couldn’t afford/justify the cost – you were totally wrong… Seriously – it was that good”

Marcus Tandler – Mediadonis: “what a fun conference! Great sessions, great people (and a lot of new great people!) and a perfect organization – great job by Matthew Wood putting together this incredible event”

Abe Books UK: “I attended the A4U Expo last Thursday and Friday and I have to say it was excellent”

Kieron Donoghue – Here.org.uk: “Wow! What an absolutely fantastic event…If you didn’t attend the Expo, shame on you, you missed a brilliant event”

Lee McCoy – AMB&SEOA: “A cracking event!! Great speakers, very well organised, fantastic conversation – both work-related and general banter. It’s been very good for business so far”

Joost de Valk – SEO Blog: “I loved every single bit of it. The session were great (above all my expectations even), the people were great and the partying was good too”

Jess Luthi – Affiliate Program Advice: “I don’t think I met anyone that said they had not made any new contacts…There are no doubts, Im sure, in anyone’s mind that the a4uExpo was a huge success”

Christoph Cemper – Marketing Fan: “compared to the Affiliate Summit London I’ve been to in September this event was so big i would list it belong those major conferences like SES San Jose, New York and the WMW in Vegas”

A4uexpo London 2008 is on 14th and 15th October 2008 – Keep those dates clear at all costs, because you really don’t want to miss out!
