The Toys R Us Affiliate Program is on Affiliate Window, and pays 3% commission across most products. It is important to note that they do not pay commission on any games consoles or games bundles that contain consoles.

Toys R Us are famous worldwide for their huge range of products that span a wide range of ages – They stock everything from Barbie Dolls and Ben 10 to drum kits, bouncy castles and sandpits. If you have a site that in any way targets children (or more specifically their parents/guardians/credit card holders!), then you really need to feature Toys R Us on your site.

Information supplied to us about the Toys R Us Affiliate program indicates that the average conversion rate on the website is around 2.5%. However, they also tell us that over the Christmas period, the conversion rate leaps up to the 9% mark! They also tell us that the average basket size is over £90, and they offer free delivery to the customer if they spend more than £150, so they are doing all they can to keep the basket value nice and high.

One down side for the ToysRus affiliate program is their Pay per Click policy – No PPC is permitted at all. There’s even a rather heavy handed warning for would-be PPC affiliates that “Any affiliate found to be driving traffic from the PPC channel will be immediately suspended from the campaign and commissions will be declined” – consider yourself warned!
