Today sees the launch of Looflirpa.com, the UK’s first network to exclusively offer a range of merchants paying affiliates 0% commission.
Having seen the success of programs such as Dixons, Comet and Cartridge Monkey getting affiliates to sell their various products free of charge, CEO of Looflirpa Wyn Dupp decided to launch an entire network based around the premise, and believes that affiliates will waste no time in swapping their links across to his new network:
“It’s clear from looking at the various examples of 0% commission that our launch merchants tested the water with last year that paying our affiliates commissions of 0% is completely viable, and is the future of Affiliate Marketing. Affiliates just can’t get enough of 0%, and I’m just surprised that we’re the first network to only offer merchants that pay 0% as our USP. I bet the other networks will be kicking themselves once they realise we’ve got there first.
They all said that affiliates wouldn’t like it, but what you’ve got to remember is that affiliates are all lazy, grubby polluters who sit in their little bedrooms looking at porn all day long, and will take whatever pittance we give them. You won’t print that bit will you?”
When asked about how he plans to monetise the network, Wyn revealed that he had had no problems whatsoever pitching the potential savings to merchants, even including the massive 70% override that he will be charging. Rumours that Google are already planning a takeover bid for Looflirpa are unfounded.
