Just heard that the Met Office have released an early weather warning for England & Wales on Friday, going into Saturday.
There is rainfall of 20-30mm expected, but there could be as much as 60-90mm in places. Driving conditions will be atrocious, and there may well be isolated flooding. The weatherman stated that the rainfall would be “heavy for any time of the year, let alone July”, and that Friday afternoon may be one of those times they issue an “don’t travel unless you have to” warning
Please remember if you are travelling to Bristol on Friday to allow plenty of time for your journey, and if you are driving, please drive very carefully. Oh, and bring a coat.. ‘cos it might just rain!
