It’s impossible to escape the grim finance articles online. Credit crunch this, recession that! There are so many articles which list ways to save a few quid that you would think we’d all have piggy banks crammed with cash by now.
Credit Cards are one of the areas which are often targeted by ambitious affiliates - but do take care. They can be a lot of hard work because there is SO much competition out there. That’s not the only problem either: as long ago as 2005 cards by Accucard, Lloyds TSB and Goldfish (which has now been bought by Barclays) all had their affiliate programs pulled from the market. M&S’s More Than card, CitiBank’s cards and other credit cards soon followed. A year earlier still, Barclays had pulled all their cards from affiliate programs too!
Soft gambling and Bingo are, on the face of it, excellent choices for those new to Affiliate programs because of the nature of the industry. Most Bingo websites don’t just pay affiliates for customer acquisitions but also on the lifetime revenue of each player and often this commission is in the region of 35, to 45%!
After the outlawing of internet gambling in America in 2006, it was anticipated by some that the online industry would struggle to continue. This assumption however, is certainly not true when considering the UK.
