So the lack of any Dragons Den coverage has led me to look at the lighter side of DD. I’ve become quite a fan of the many facebook groups that have cropped up for Den related stuff. Last week I highlighted the “Deborah Meaden is a dirty little Gazumper” group.
Well, to prove that I’m not totally against the miserable little female-hitler, I’m also happy to showcase the group “Deborah Meaden from ‘Dragons’ Den’ is a lesbian icon… and I SO would!” – which suprisingly has just 10 members. Now I did look for groupws for all the other dragonws, and there were very few (that I could publish) – but for Deborah, that’s not a problem – She has a plethora of groups to her name, including “Deborah Meaden… is the spawn of Satan…has no colour on her hair…is a bitch…doesn’t dye her hair my arse… is a witch…” you get the picture!
There’s some great footage I’ve come across of an overweight, past-his best “comedian” pitching to the dragons for £1,000,000 of Investment (See – we even get the magic million when DD isn’t on!) to help make a Christmas special of the comedy series “Extras” – and even better this footage is available on YouTube, so have a look for yourself, and see how Ricky from Slough gets on.
And if you’ve ever wanted to see an entrepreneur have the dragons literally speechless, then check out Keith Hunter, who is looking for investment (doesn’t specify how much, but will be based on sales of “about £12 million in the first year”) of his “Frigatron 2000″ device.
Back to normal on Dragons Den next week – Duncan finding his arms getting shorter, and pockets longer by the week, Peter having a go at someone for not being dressed to his liking, and an endless supply of numpties valuing their crap businesses at the Magic Million. I can’t wait!
