Pro is Go!

ecu pro

No prizes for guessing what the most frequently asked question on Easy Content Units has been for the last four months? Yup, it’s “When are you launching ECU Pro and removing the revenue share?” – Amongst the answers given to that question since January are: “when we exit beta”, followed by “a few months”, then “a couple of months”, “next month (hopefully), “mid-May”, “next week!” and last night I was finally able to answer with certainty “It’ll be tomorrow!”

And finally, we have launched Affiliate Pro for ECU – yay!

The key features thus far are:

* Removal of revenue share, so your links show 100% of the time.
* SEO Friendly units – All Pro members can now get their units in php code, which can be read by the search engines.
* Add branding to your units – You can now add a custom header/footer image to your pro units, to further fit your sites brand/style.
* Advanced Reporting – More detailed breakdown of units stats

Obviously, the removal of the revenue share is the one that everyone really wants, but we’ve also chucked in some extra features that people have been asking for, such as SEO readable units, more in-depth stats and the ability to brand their units. We’re always working on new features behind the scenes, and will release these out to pro members as part of their subscription on an ongoing basis – so if there’s a feature you’d like to see on ECU, just let us know, and if it’s a) possible and b) useful then we’ll do our best to develop it for you!

Affiliate Pro costs just £19.99+vat per month, and includes all the above features, our highly-praised customer service support, and all new upgrades, features and tools that will be built into ECU Pro.

To activate your Affiliate Pro account and start using the new features, simply enter your existing ECU username (click here to get one if you haven’t already got one) and click subscribe below to set up your subscription.

Initially though it was a bit steep but when you put it as “you’re better off if you earn £100 of commission a month through it”, it seems so much more of a bargain. That’s without the extra perks.

Good luck on coming out of Beta :-)

Thanks for that David – It was a tough task setting the price, as we already offer so much on the free version.

I think the Affiliate Pro represents excellent value for money as a small step up from the free version (affiliates can always start with the free version, and then when their earnings are over £100 a month, flip over to the Pro version), and with the developments we’ve got planned, it’s only going to get better value!
