I don’t know the success rate, but as you say, quite a few deals fall through – Interesting to see that in each of the Dragon’s bio programs that have been screened over the last 5 weeks, there’s been at least one per dragon from the last series alone that didn’t progress beyond the due diligence stage “through no-one’s fault” as Evan Davis was keen to point out every single week.

I think we all know that DD is now a parody of itself, with the “dragons” using the program to boost their own media profiles through “witty” put-downs and catchphrases. The only thing that surprised me about the profiles series that’s just ended is that Duncan Bannatyne is 59.. Cripes, I hope I look that good at 59!

Have you any idea what the success rates for the series are, since it all started off …. my contention is that very few of the deals we see being offered money actually draw down …. but the pantomine must go on ….. good for Christmas though …. we all like a bit of drama.

Certainly agree with bringing back Richard Farleigh. Duncan seems to have lost the will this series and hopefully he’ll be replaced before long.
