Who is Lammo?

Thought you might like to meet Little Lammo..
He (or She) is due to be making an appearance in August 2009 (well obviously 2009 – we haven’t mastered either record-breaking gestation periods or time travel yet). Naturally, both myself and Er Indoors are completely thrilled – I’m sure that those of you who know the full story about our journey so far will appreciate just how happy (and surprised, and nervous, and excited, and worried) we both are.
And I’m sure this is just the beginning of the rollercoaster of emotions – I’m already wondering how people managed to survive pregnancy before Google was invented – Did they just phone up the midwife every five minutes – “Can I eat this?”, “Can I take this medicine?”, “Should I do this?”, “Is this normal?” 
Of course, this does mean that a Travel Ban will be in place shortly, so I’m afraid A4uexpo Europe and the Summer Roadshows are going to be out of the question, and A4uexpo London could be in doubt. I’ll try and get up to London for the Pubmeet next month (as long as they’re not still at a standstill cos of some snow!

Mike – “hormonal mood swings and weird cravings in the middle of the night!” – I’ll let Er Indoors know – she’ll just have to put up with me getting shirty and munching marmite on toast at 3am..
Hannah – “Can’t wait to see the bump grow and grow!” – It’s huge already – I’ve had to move down a notch on my belt!
Claire – “Be really nice to “Er inside”, she doesnt mean to snap at you, it just cant be helped when your pregnant, honest!” – She’s been pretty good so far (although she is currently in floods of tears watching Home and Away, but I’ve put that down to her distaste at the lack of acting/storytelling)

Ditzy – “Which scan is the pic of?” – That scan was taken at 8 weeks.. We’re now at 12 weeks (13 weeks on Thursday, not that we’re counting!), and first midwife appointment on Friday – so exciting

I’ve hit the magic 12 week milestone today so I can come clean and admit that we’re a week behind you.

Massive congrats guys, it’s a very magical time. I have to say Mrs Keen’s hormones with our first and current one waiting to get out have been trying to say the least – the only solution is to grin and bare it!

I have to say I went pretty weird towards the end of the pregnancy with the first…emotions all over the place, I cried like a baby when Max was born – probably the emotional release that Mrs Keen would stop moaning at me ;o)
My best mate’s 1st coincidentally was born a couple of weeks after – I remember wetting the head a few weeks later and being completely plastered, and talking to a random girl about how amazing haveing a baby was, and then crying!!! Very odd!

Graham – Cheers matey! Haven’t had *too* many problems with the hormones yet – I’m now worried what could be looming over the next few months lol – I can only imagine what emotions we’re going to be going through by the time Little Lammo pops out!

Great news John, I’m absolutely thrilled to hear you and Mrs Lammo are to become proud parents. I’m sad I won’t be able to see you at A4U Expo Europe but glad to hear you’re leading the way in pushing for creche facilities at future events. Now there’ll probably be an on-site nanny by the time Duncan and I create new affiliate life!!
